5 Budget Travel Destinations from ATL for Labor Day Weekend

One rule to budget travel: Always plan your trips in advance. Planning ahead helps ensure you get the best price for your trip so you can travel on a budget (and that is what I'm all about, after all 😉 ).
Labor Day weekend 2023 is one week away, so we are cutting it close with planning ahead, but fear not, an affordable travel experience is less than 8 hours away (if you live in Atlanta). This is the perfect time for a quick getaway before summer ends!
Here are 5 of my favorite budget-friendly destinations ideal for a short trip over the long weekend:
Chattanooga, TN 🌉: Just a scenic 2-hour drive from ATL, Chattanooga offers stunning riverfront views, hiking trails galore, and the iconic Lookout Mountain (where my alma mater is).
